Rula evicted from Big Brother house
The Polish actress was nominated by housemates George Galloway and Preston, who also set up Baywatch babe Traci Bingham and Welsh rapper Maggot.
Rula looked stony-faced as her eviction was announced by host Davina McCall, and showed no emotion as she hugged and kissed fellow housemates.
As she left the door she was booed and cheered by onlookers.
She allowed herself a smile as a small group of fans chanted: “Rula, Rula.”
The flame-haired actress will be best remembered for bringing George Galloway to his knees. Pictures of the MP pretending to be a cat, lapping imaginary milk from the hands of the Polish countess, made headlines everywhere.
The two flirted in the early stages of the show and appeared to be the firmest of friends. But Rula, 57, got a huge shock when she watched Galloway - who didn’t know his nominations were being screened inside the house - select her for last night’s eviction.
The actress, who found fame in ’70s TV show Rock Follies, seemed oblivious to the fact that her housemates were bitching about her behind her back. Housemates Michael Barrymore and Pete Burns spent hours making cruel jibes about the Londoner, who had vowed to be “house mum” to the celebrities before joining the show.
Lenska appeared in Eastenders in 2002 as Frank Butcher’s Costa Del Sol girlfriend Krystal, and is the ex-wife of Minder star Dennis Waterman.
The actress was born Countess Roza-Marie Leopoldnya Lubienska.
She met Waterman on the set of Minder in 1982 and married in 1987. They divorced in 1998 amid accusations of his violence and heavy drinking.
Her chosen charities were Wildlife Line and Children In Crisis.
