Czechs petition against Turkey EU membership

MORE than 3,000 Czechs have signed a petition against Turkish membership of the European Union.

David Gresak, head of the citizens’ committee that organised the petition said a list with 3,400 signatures was handed to the Czech government in Prague.

“We want the Czech government to vote against the start of admission talks with Turkey at the EU summit on December 17,” he said.
