A SMALL explosive device went off yesterday at the entrance of the port Llanes in northern Spain.

No injuries in Spanish blast

There were no injuries and no damage to property.

An anonymous caller claiming to speak for the Basque separatist group ETA called a local newspaper, Neuva Espana, one hour before the blast, to warn that it would occur.
