Python hatchling survives against the odds

A TINY Burmese python has become the newest arrival at a popular Scottish tourist attraction - against all the odds.

When the reptile’s mother and father arrived at Edinburgh’s Butterfly and Insect World, they were so ill that staff did not think they would survive.

But now they have become the parents of the centre’s first ever Burmese python hatchling.
