Osbournes offer €143,000 for return of gems

WILD man rocker Ozzy Osbourne spoke of his distress yesterday after thieves stole precious jewellery worth £2 million (€3m) from his country mansion.

The heavy metal star, who grappled with one of the intruders during yesterday’s break-in, offered a £100,000 (€143,000) reward for the return of the stolen gems.

And asked if he would tackle a burglar again, he responded: “Is the Pope a Catholic?”
