Taxi driver scoops reconciliation with son along with £14m jackpot
Cabbie Bob Frazer, 58, and his son Alan were having a private family reunion in London after they drifted apart six years ago.
At a news conference Frazer, of Heaton, Newcastle, said he would love to be make contact with his son again and promised to make him a millionaire. A Camelot spokeswoman said both father and son were meeting yesterday.
Mr Frazer has also promised to hold a huge party for his 11 brothers and three sisters, the spokeswoman said.
Some of them live abroad, including one in Australia, so the event would take some weeks to arrange, she explained.
Alan, a 35-year-old mechanic who lives in Endon, Staffordshire, was reported to have been "delighted" to hear about his father's good luck.
He said: "I'd love to join him for a cold beer."
