Hashish arrest in Albania

ALBANIAN police yesterday said they found 440 pounds of hashish in a speedboat hidden on a south-western shore and arrested its owner, a former policeman.

The boat owner, Artur Sinanaj, 36, was sacked from the police force in 1996 for abuse of power.
