Blair criticised by French

FRENCH Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin said yesterday he will judge Tony Blair on his actions, not his words, as Britain takes over the EU presidency.

A day after Mr Blair gave an impassioned speech outlining his vision for his six-month tenure as the European Union’s president, Mr de Villepin said that he was expecting results.

“What I’m waiting for is the content, the acts that Tony Blair will carry out as the head of Europe,” he said on France Inter radio.
