Cavan building materials group Kingspan issues a trading statement to update investors on its performance over the first six months of the year. The Central Bank and the Pensions Board, the body charged by the Government with increasing pension take-up in Ireland, publish their annual reports.
The Central Statistics Office (CSO) releases data on industrial production and turnover during May. Industrial equipment company Unidare holds an extraordinary general meting. Banks are closed in Northern Ireland for the July 12 holiday.
Wednesday
A busy day in Britain for three companies that are well-known in Ireland. Telecoms giant BT and food and clothing retailer Marks & Spencer hold their annual general meetings. Clothing brand Burberry issues results for its first quarter.
Thursday
Markets are closed in France for the Bastille Day holiday. In Ireland, the CSO releases details on inflation in June with the publication of the Consumer Price Index. Troubled computer software group Iona Technologies issues second quarter results. Investors will brace themselves for bad news after a recent profit warning.
In Britain, Emap, the new owner of Today FM, Dublin music station FM104 and Donegal’s Highland Radio, holds its annual general meeting.
Friday
Housebuilder Abbey publishes full-year results for the 12 months to the end of April. The company recently gave up its full listings on the Dublin and London stock exchanges in favour of listing on the secondary Irish Enterprise Exchange (IEX) and London’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM).
The deadline set by the Takeover Panel for the Precinct Investments consortium to make a bid for the Jurys Doyle hotel group expires. The CSO publishes retail sales and external trade figures.
