Lindh honoured

SWEDEN’S former foreign minister Anna Lindh has been posthumously voted European of the Year in Sweden.

According to the European Movement in Sweden, which selected Ms Lindh, the murdered politician was cited for her “strong engagement and participation in the work that has led to the enlargement of the European Union”.
