Wedding gifts to come up Trumps

But that does not stop billionaire Donald Trump issuing a lavish wedding present list for his upcoming nuptials with Slovenian model Melania Knauss.

Trump’s wedding to Knauss later this month will be a glamorous affair, attended by stars including Clint Eastwood, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-

Jones and Naomi Campbell.

If the guests are stuck for the perfect gift, the happy couple have made a few suggestions themselves.

The most expensive suggested gift is the Royal Copenhagen Flora Danica porcelain fruit basket, for E6,440, from the fashionable boutique, Bergdorf.

Trump, 58, and Knauss, 33, have also asked for a matching round cachepot for 3,720, a round platter for 2,300 and an oval accent dish with handle for E1,570.

The couple want only the best for their dining table, asking for a 170 fish serving fork, a carving knife worth 140 and a 45 cheese knife.

Wedding guests are also being urged to buy their gifts at top jewellers, Tiffany, according to the New York Post.

The pair hope to serve visitors at Trump Tower, in New York, from a E3,000 sterling silver coffee server.

Casual penthouse guests will stir their coffee with a E50 teaspoon. More formal guests will hopefully be able to use the E1,570 three-piece English King dinner setting.

Meanwhile, wedding guests who choose world-famous linen-maker Frette as the place to buy their gift can ask for multiple sets of cream-white, 500-count cotton bed sheets which sell for about E930 each.

Trump and Knauss will tie the knot at Palm Beach, Florida, on January 22. It will be Trump’s third marriage.

According to reports, the pair will exchange vows at the century-old Bethesda-

by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, before gathering at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s sweeping 18-acre private home overlooking the Atlantic.

Trump’s two ex-wives, Ivana Zelnicek and Marla Maples, will be there, along with his four children, Donald Jr, 27, Ivanka, 23, and Eric, 20, from his first marriage, and Tiffany, 11, from his second.

It is also reported that casino and property tycoon Trump has a tough pre-nuptial agreement, in case the marriage fails.

Trump, whose profile grew even bigger recently with his reality business-

talent show, The Apprentice, has said he would like more children.

“I love kids, and Melania will make a great mom,” he said lately.
