Gardaí prepare file on pyramid scheme for DPP

A FILE is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions after gardaí interviewed two people in relation to the controversial Liberty pyramid scheme.

Yesterday, gardaí in West Cork confirmed two people were interviewed on foot of a formal complaint lodged earlier this week.

A garda spokesperson said: “We will be carrying out a full investigation before forwarding a file to the DPP.”
