Inquest into death of Moors murderer Hindley opens

AN inquest into the death of Moors murderer Myra Hindley will open today. The hearing will take place at Highpoint prison near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England at 3pm. It will be overseen by Greater Suffolk coroner Peter Dean.

"The post mortem has been completed and the results will be passed to the coroner. Her body will remain at the West Suffolk hospital pending that hearing," said a police spokesman.

British police have not revealed further details about the cause of death. Hindley, 60, died at the West Suffolk hospital in Bury St Edmunds last Friday after suffering respiratory failure.
