DETECTIVES hunting the killer of 17-year-old Hannah Foster are looking at possible links with sex offences and crimes against women committed in the area where the talented student disappeared.

Detectives hunt for Hannah’s killer

Hannah, of Grosvenor Road, Portswood, Southampton, was last seen on Friday night as she walked home from the pub.

Her body was discovered on Sunday in undergrowth in Allington Lane, West End, Southampton.

Detective Inspector Tony Adams yesterday said Hannah’s body was found fully-clothed but would not comment on whether she had been indecently assaulted or if any items, including clothing, were missing.

Mr Adams said the main line of inquiry being followed is that the killer was not known to Hannah, but detectives are not ruling out that it could be a friend.
