Giant blueberry in Guinness Book of Records

A GIANT blueberry grown by a farmer aiming for a place in the Guinness Book of Records was eaten by a bird days before it was due to be picked.

Brian Carlick, aged 54, of Aldringham, Suffolk, said he spent six months nurturing the blueberry and “couldn’t believe it” when the bird swooped.
