Baghdad suicide car bomb kills 22

A SUICIDE car bomb south of Baghdad killed 22 Iraqis and wounded at least 60 in Baghdad yesterday and four US troops were killed - two in a helicopter crash Wednesday and two from a roadside bomb.

US command said the attack helicopter went down about 8:10am near Ramadi.

The military said the cause of the crash was being investigated. But an Iraqi man who said he saw the crash said insurgents “fired at the helicopter and shot it down.”
