Cross words about crossword prizes

As an avid reader of your newspaper I was most disappointed with your Farming crossword prize last Thursday.

You will be aware surely a lot of your support comes from outside of Cork and to offer prizes such as framed images of Cork is surely an insult. Bad enough — a few weeks ago there was a prize of a fourball in Fota. Ugh. Also, a lot of people don’t play golf. Please refrain from these types of prizes.

Now that Christmas is on the way what about chocs, biscuits, wine etc? I’m sure that would suit most people.
