Here's how to turn Spotify's progress bar into a lightsaber

Spotify has embraced Star Wars fever and included an Easter egg that turns the humble progress bar into a lightsaber. Here's how you can unlock it.

• Open Spotify's desktop client
• Search for 'Complete Star Wars Soundtrack' in the library
• Start playing

It's as simple as that. You can also flick between three different lightsaber models by clicking on the lightsaber's hilt.

This effect stays in place until you restart Spotify, so you can add a Star Wars feel to all of your music.

If you're not in the mood to listen to the Star Wars soundtrack, you can also search for 'THX1138'; that's a reference to the first film that George Lucas directed.
