Troy Parrott shows promise but Levante outgun Real Betis

Troy Parrott's full debut for his new club Real Betis ended in defeat despite the Republic of Ireland striker registering an assist for centre-half Marc Bartra.

Parrott - who also had a goal ruled out by VAR after an offside check - started up front for Manuel Pellegrini's outfit, who conceded five at Levante, having originally come from behind twice to go in level at half-time.

Levante - through a Brugue brace and a late Jon Olasagasti effort - proved the better side post-interval.
