Watch: Everton squad, staff and family surprise Seamus Coleman with special tribute

Seamus Coleman said his goodbyes to the Everton fans last week after his last ever home match for the club.
But on Friday, Coleman had arguably an even more emotional farewell as he trained at the club’s training ground for the potentially the last time before they travel to London on Saturday for his last ever fixture for the Blues at Spurs on Sunday.
Ahead of that match, every member of Everton’s staff formed a guard of honour, applauding the Toffees skipper on his way to the training pitch, where he was presented with a commemorative framed artwork – signed with messages of gratitude from his teammates.
An emotional Seamus, along with his wife Rachel, Everton manager David Moyes and vice-captain James Tarkowski all gave a speech following the presentation to pay tribute to the popular fullback.

Moyes recently said they offered Coleman “every job there is” to keep him at the club but the 37-year-old wants to continue playing.
Coleman, signed from Sligo Rovers for £60,000 in 2009, has played just 24 times in the last three seasons as he struggled with injuries but his desire to continue captaining the Republic of Ireland means he is likely to seek another club to extend his playing career.
“We’ve offered Seamus every job there is: from groundsman to assistant, you name it he’s had every opportunity,” said Moyes before their loss to Sunderland last Sunday.
“But the thing I admire about Seamus is he wants to keep playing, he wants to keep playing for his country.
“He has a couple of friendly games coming up during the summertime which he wants to keep ready for and he’s in good physical condition and I admire him for it because he wants to do it.
“It would be easy for him to just to say, ‘I’ve settled down and I’m not going to do it’.
“There will always be a desk here for him when his time comes, I have no doubt about that.”
