A predictable outcome but not a predictable match.
Cork City were well in the final, either side of Harry Nevin’s red card, but Ed McGinty’s one-handed save from Freddie Anderson, coupled with a veteran poacher in Rory Gaffney, turned the decider in the way of Shamrock Rovers.
