Cobh Ramblers confirm abrupt departure of manager at crucial point of the season

McDermott was not on the bench for last Friday's game at home to Dundalk. Richie Holland will take charge of Cobh for the playoffs.

Cobh Ramblers have been thrown into crisis ahead of Friday’s First Division playoff as Mick McDermott will not manage the team at Treaty United.

Uncertainty over the Belfast native’s future surfaced when he wasn’t on the bench for Friday’s final regulation game of the season at home to champions Dundalk.
