HUGE SHOCK: Former Liverpool manager Matt Beard who passed away suddenly on Saturday night. 

Ireland captain Katie McCabe was among a wave of leading figures from across women's football who expressed shock and sorrow after the news that former Liverpool women's team manager Matt Beard has died aged 47

Beard had two spells as manager of the Reds and most recently left the Women's Super League club in February this year.
