Robbie Keane's Ferencvaros hopes of returning to the Champions League group league phase took a blow this evening as the Hungarian champions lost 3-1 at home to Qarabag in the first leg of the play-off round.

Ferencvaros defeated Ludogorets 3-0 on aggregate in the last round with Keane's side hoping to continuing momentum but have work to do in Baku next Wednesday or they will be dropped into the Europa League.
