Brian Barry-Murphy hopes to put into practice what he learned from working under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City in his new role as Cardiff City head coach.
The 46-year-old, son of Cork GAA legend Jimmy Barry-Murphy, was appointed on a three-year deal by the League One club on Monday. Barry-Murphy left a role as first team coach with Leicester City to take up his new post. He had previously managed Rochdale between 2019 and 2021 before joining Manchester City to take charge of their elite development squad.
