Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert has agreed to a deal with Bournemouth, which is expected to open the door for Milos Kerkez's £45 million transfer to Liverpool.

According to Telegraph Sport,Ā  23-year-old Truffert has reached an agreement on personal terms and will have a medical later this week.

Kerkez is expected to move to Anfield soon after he was allowed to depart the Hungary squad for personal reasons, and would become Arne Slot's second signing of the summer, following the capture of Bayer Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong.Ā

A blockbuster deal for Frimpong's former Leverkusen teammate Florian Wirtz is also said to be not too far from agreement.

ā€œMilos Kerkez left the men’s A-team training camp in Telk for private reasons, so he will not travel with the team to Baku, the venue of the match against Azerbaijan,ā€ a Hungarian Football Federation statement read on the Kerkez situation.
