Republic of Ireland centurion Louise Quinn announces retirement from football 

Quinn would go on to become one of seven WNT centurions and play the full 90 minutes in all three games at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Louise Quinn has announced her retirement from football following 121 appearances for the Republic of Ireland.

After making the breakthrough as a teenager with Peamount United, she captained the club to the SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division title in the league’s inaugural season in 2011/12 and she was selected onto the Team of the Season.
