Celtic Soccer Academy have announced that it is engaging with Cabinteely Football Club as their new International Club Partner in South Dublin.

Davy Stone, Director of Football, Cabinteely FC, said: “We at Cabinteely FC are delighted to announce our international partnership with Celtic FC.

“This collaboration marks a significant step forward for our club, providing further opportunities for our players and coaches to learn and develop their skills together with one of the most renowned academies in world football.

“Celtic’s commitment to youth development and excellence in football aligns with our vision for continuing progress in the interests of all our members. There is also a huge fan base and interest in Celtic FC in Ireland.

“We look forward to a successful and lasting relationship that will benefit our players, coaches and the wider football community.”

Celtic’s senior soccer academy manager, Jose Romero, added: “We are delighted to announce our partnership with Cabinteely FC.

“We look forward to engaging with them regularly throughout the next year. Cabinteely coaches will participate in various online mentoring programmes and have access to our unique coach education platform in partnership with etrainu.

“Additionally, all their coaches will be able to tap into our coaching curriculums, which will give them the option to shape their sessions in line with our player development philosophy.

“In the coming summer, Cabinteely FC will host a summer camp, which will be run by our very own Celtic Soccer Academy coaches. It will be fantastic to work with players from Dublin and the surrounding areas.

“During our visit to Ireland, we look forward to spending time with Cabinteely FC coaches, sharing insight and experiencing the excellent work that Cabinteely coaches are doing in south Dublin. The partnership will be an exciting journey for both organisations.

“This strategic relationship is one that we are sure players, parents and coaches in the city will benefit from. It goes without saying that we are keen to build on our links with Celtic fans in the city and Ireland alike.”
