Kerry manager Conor McCarthy has strongly criticised the FAI after his side were handed a three-point deduction for fielding Steven Stanic-Floody without the requisite International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

The midfielder made a cameo appearance in the Kingdom’s opening night win over Finn Harps as he was deemed ‘active’ on the FAI system, therefore allowing him to be included on the team sheet.
