Kerry FC boss Conor McCarthy calls out FAI for 'utter nonsense' and 'incompetence'

The FAI recently announced that Kerry had been denied three points for fielding an ineligble player.

Kerry manager Conor McCarthy has strongly criticised the FAI after his side were handed a three-point deduction for fielding Steven Stanic-Floody without the requisite International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

The midfielder made a cameo appearance in the Kingdom’s opening night win over Finn Harps as he was deemed ‘active’ on the FAI system, therefore allowing him to be included on the team sheet.
