Liverpool youngster James Norris is set to join Shelbourne on loan for the rest of the season according to reports.

James Pearce of The Athletic has tweeted that the highly-rated 21-year-old will join the League of Ireland Premier Division champions where he will work under Damien Duff.

The left-back, who can also play in midfield, has represented England at underage level from U16 up to U19 and he spent last season on loan at Tranmere Rovers, where he made 16 appearances in total.

Norris has featured twice for Liverpool at senior, making his debut aged 17 in their infamous Carabao Cup quarter-final loss to Aston Villa which was played the day before Jurgen Klopp's first team played in the Club World Cup while he has also played in the FA Cup on their way to winning it in 2022.
