Of all the new audiences the League of Ireland’s resurgence has reached, Neil Warnock is up there with the most interesting.

The veteran manager had a special reason to watch Cork City’s match against Wexford, as the recommendation he’d made for Liam Buckley to sign Malik Dijksteel was vindicated by his screamer into the Shed End.
