Ireland U21 Euro qualifier fixtures announced with March friendlies confirmed

Ireland U21's fixtures for the 2027 UEFA U21 European Championship qualifiers have been confirmed as Jim Crawfordās team gets set for two international friendlies in March.
Last week, the young Boys in Green were drawn against England, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, Moldova and Andorra in Group D as they look to reach the 2027 U21 European Championships in Albania & Serbia.
In preparation for the qualifiers, Ireland will face stern opposition in Scotland (Friday, March 21) and Hungary (Monday, March 24) with both games taking place at the Pinatar Arena, Spain.
Details of the June international window are to be confirmed.
Their first competitive action of the year will come on Thursday, September 4 when they travel away to Moldova. They then return to Irish soil for the visit of Andorra on Tuesday, September 9.
Thereās a solitary qualifier for Ireland in October as they host Slovakia on Friday, October 10. The round four fixture will be the highly anticipated trip to three-time European Champions England on Friday, November 14 before a second away game of the window against Andorra on Tuesday, November 18.
Irelandās first game of 2026 will be at home to Moldova on Thursday, March 26 and five days later they take on Kazakhstan away on Tuesday, March 31.

It will be three games in 12 days in the latter stages of the qualifiers. Ireland visit Slovakia on Friday, September 25 and return home to host Kazakhstan on Tuesday, September 29. The qualification campaign ends with the visit of England on Tuesday, October 6.
All venues and kick-off times will be announced in due course.
