At long last say the people of Cork, and Manchester United fans in general.
Arguably the greatest full-back in Premier League history is set to join his old friend Roy Keane in 'the Overlap' studio tomorrow for the latest episode of the 'Stick to Football' podcast.
No it's not Gary Neville, who is likely to take his usual position as host alongside regular pundits Keane, Jamie Carragher, Ian Wright and Jill Scott on the show.
Instead it will be Leeside legend Denis Irwin in the hot-seat, as his fellow Corkonian teased on Instgram on Wednesday afternoon.
"Guess who’s on the podcast tomorrow?" Keane posted, wearing a t-shirt that will surely be seen all over the Rebel County in the near future.
“Did we just become best friends!” replied the Overlap's official page in the comments. The shirt, of course, is in reference to the film 'Step Brothers' with Keane and Irwin's image replacing Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly's.
The two have been best friends for a long time and there are sure to be plenty of interesting stories from their antics together, from on and off the pitch, when the episode airs on Thursday.
It is not to be missed for fans of Manchester United and the Republic of Ireland, as well as the people of Cork.
