Carla Ward has been appointed the new Head Coach of the Ireland Women’s National Team, the FAI have announced.

The former Sheffield United, Birmingham City and Aston Villa manager succeeds Eileen Gleeson and will lead the Women's side until the end of the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup campaign.
