Cork City have confirmed that WYLDE esports and the National Esports Centre co-founder David Cronin has become a minority shareholder in the football club.

As well as working with esports, Cronin is also the owner of Neptune Ribs, Ireland’s powerboat company and he was previously a member of the Munster Rugby Commercial Board for a number of years.
