Experienced defender Louise Quinn has been ruled out of Ireland’s Euro 2025 play-off against Wales.

The Birmingham City defender misses out with a hip injury as boss Eileen Gleeson named her squad for the two-legged Celtic clash against the Dragons next week.

Also absent are Ellen Molloy (hamstring), Lucy Quinn (ankle), Jamie Finn (knee) and Jess Ziu.

Though there are welcome returns to the fold for Megan Campbell and Ruesha Littlejohn after the pair missed the previous play-offs against Georgia last month.

Should the Girls in Green triumph over two-legs against Wales, they will reach a European Championships for the first time at senior level.

The first-leg is set to take place on Friday, November 29th at the Cardiff City Stadium before the Aviva Stadium plays host to the second-leg on Tuesday, December 3rd.

Over 15,000 tickets have been sold for the second-leg so far.
