DERRY CITY Football Club has confirmed the appointment of Tiernan Lynch as their new manager.

Lynch and his brother Seamus, who was his assistant manager at Larne, will take charge of the Inver Park club for the final time in Tuesday night's Bet McLean League Cup last 16 tie against Institute, ironically at Brandywell Stadium.
