Manager Markku Kanerva believes a clean sheet is a priority against Ireland.

Whereas one manager in tonight’s international is at the start of his tenure, another Finland defeat could signal the end for theirs.

Markku Kanerva was revered in his homeland for steering Finland to their first major tournament, the delayed Euro 2021, working off the base of a squad he nurtured during his stint as U21 boss.
