Ireland's Quinn and Connolly ruled out of play-off clashes with Georgia

Defender Louise Quinn and midfielder Megan Connolly have been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland's UEFA Euro 2025 Qualifying Round 1 play-off double header against Georgia.
The duo have suffered hip and hamstring injuries, respectively, but no replacements have been called up. A squad of 23 players travelled with the team to Tbilisi for the first game of the double header.
Goalkeeper Courtney Brosnan will link up with the squad on their return from Georgia due to being suspended for the first leg.
Eileen Gleeson's squad take on the Georgians this Friday (October 25) at 8pm (5pm Irish Time), before hosting the same opponent in Tallaght Stadium on Tuesday, October 29.
