Nothing prepared Liverpudlian Pike for Dundalk turmoil

Eight weeks into his Dundalk career, Dan Pike feared his 18-month deal might have been worthless.

His penchant for consoles convinced Dan Pike to volunteer for yesterday’s EA promotion event but earlier this week it felt he was actually part of a video game.

Dundalk were in freefall over the weekend, lurching towards the abyss on Monday and all the players were innocent props.
