Derry City will host Shelbourne in the FAI cup quarter final - a repeat of the 2022 decider.
Derry prevailed that day but Shels lead them in the table, making this the standout tie of the round.
That’s the only all-Premier tie, with Treaty hosting Wexford in an all First Division clash.
UCD will welcome Bohemians while Athlone Town stage Drogheda United.
The appeal of Shamrock Rovers against Bohemians fielding what they deemed the suspended Dawson Devoy in their first round defeat to Bohemians continues. One more stage with the FAI’s framework is due to be heard shortly but the Hoops are likely to pursue their case through arbitration and even the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on a point of principle.
Ordinarily, appealing a result holds the next round up but as Rovers are aggrieved at the FAI - who confirmed the player’s eligibility to Bohemians - last Sunday’s fixture against Kerry proceeded. Bohs eventually prevailed in a penalty shoot-out following a 2-2 draw against the First Division team.
(To be played week ending September 17, first team named at home)
UCD v Bohemians
Athlone Town v Drogheda
Wexford v Treaty Utd
Derry City v Shelbourne
