Finally a Premier League season with some jeopardy. And what jeopardy it is.

At some stage this season, the independent commission hearing the case on the 115 charges brought against Manchester City by the Premier League is expected to deliver its verdict. The hearing will begin in mid-September and it has been reported that there will be a ruling before the end of the season (if it was being held in Ireland we could expect a conclusion in time for Dublin hosting the Olympics in 2072).
