Hoban insists Derry City must 'box smart'

Striker Pat Hoban - who starred for Dundalk as the Lilywhites overcame the Magpies over two legs last year - insists his side must 'box smart' in the heat of battle with their Gibraltarian counterparts.

European football has always presented somewhat of a different challenge for League of Ireland clubs. 

Style of football, inability to gain huge amounts of knowledge on opposition, raucous atmospheres and different climates, to name a few of the roadblocks put in front of Irish opposition when venturing abroad.
