Draw made for first round of the FAI Cup

What was the preliminary round of the FAI Cup has been rename as the first round.

The draw for the Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup First Round has been confirmed after being made at FAI HQ live on the FAI YouTube channel.

Last week, it was announced that the competition's preliminary round, traditionally played before the first round of the cup, will now now be called the first round.

League of Ireland Clubs will then enter the competition in the second round. 

First round ties will be played on the week ending Sunday, May 19th.

College Corinthians v Cobh Wanderers Wayside Celtic v Collinstown Cockhill Celtic v Airfield United Pike Rovers v Villa Midleton v St. Francis Wilton United v Glebe North Ballyfermot United v Rockmount Maynooth University Town v Gorey Rangers.
