A sideshow to Sunday's Old Trafford 2-2 thriller between Manchester United and Liverpool was the customary fan reactions of Sky Sports co-commentators Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville.
Impartiality is not a requirement for Sky's big two on testy afternoons between these two bitter rivals.
In the first half, the despair was all Neville's as he bemoaned United's inability to make any impact on the away side, who led 1-0.
"It's so easy to play against Manchester United's midfield,' Neville said.Â
"It's basic stuff. Some of the things that Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro have done in the first half, it really is incredible for their experience. It's desperate defending from United."
Maybe it was Neville describing the game as Liverpool's easiest of the run-in that eventually sparked his reds into action.
Though in reality it was a careless pass across his defence from Liverpool youngster Jarell Quansah that gifted Bruno Fernandes the opportunity to arrow an audacious leveller over CaoimhÃn Kellaher.
That had Neville chuckling alongside Peter Drury, with Carragher groaning and slumping in his seat in agony.

There was worse to come for the Liverpool man when Kobbie Mainoo curled United ahead, this time Neville making no attempt to curb his celebrations.Â

At this stage, Carragher was taking a break from commentary duties to coach Liverpool, roaring 'Pass it Mo' in frustration when Mo Salah was over-elaborate in possession.Â
But there was eventually some relief for Carragher when Salah slotted the equalising penalty, though Neville appeared to dispute its award, at least off mic...Â
