Tonight's scheduled meeting of Sligo Rovers and Galway United in the League of Ireland Premier Division has been postponed due to Storm Kathleen and an ongoing orange weather warning for the area.

A statement from the league read: "League of Ireland can confirm that tonight’s SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division fixture between Sligo Rovers and Galway United has been postponed over health and safety concerns owing to the risk of travelling, flying debris and power outages in the Sligo area amid an Orange Weather Warning issued by Met Eireann.
