Damien Duff says he is ashamed and embarrassed by the Shelbourne fan who threw an object injuring assistant referee Dermot Broughton during last night's 2-2 draw with Drogheda United at Weavers Park.

The result maintains Shels' unbeaten shart to the season, but the game was overshadowed by the incident, which injured Broughton and caused the game to be stopped for 20 minutes close to the end.
