Brian Kerr confirmed as part of John O'Shea's Ireland coaching team

The return will end Kerr's 19-year exile from FAI duty. Glenn Whelan will also be involved.

Brian Kerr, Glenn Whelan and Rene Gilmartin will join interim head coach John O'Shea and Paddy McCarthy for Ireland's march friendlies with Belgium and Switzerland.

O'Shea has confirmed former Ireland manager Kerr, who was previously in charge for 33 matches between 2003 to 2005, will work with the coaching team as a Technical Advisor throughout the March window.
