Arsenal's financial accounts have shown that the club made a loss of €60million last season and over a third of that has been contributed to Nicolas Pepe's decline in valuation.

The Gunners' books, for the year ended May 31 2023, show that “impairment write-downs on certain player registrations” amounted to €21.1million.
