Mohamed Salah to return to Liverpool for treatment confirm the Egyptian FA

"After carrying out additional examinations of Mohamed Salah in the last hours and after communication between the medical department of the national team and his counterpart at Liverpool club, it has been confirmed that the player will return to England following the Cape Verde game tomorrow."

The Egyptian Football Association have confirmed that Mohamed Salah will return to Liverpool to have his hamstring injury treated by the club's medical department.

Salah limped off in the first half of Egypt's 2-2 draw with Ghana last Thursday and a statement issued by his country on Friday night confirmed he is expected to miss their next two matches should they qualify for the knockout phase of the Africa Cup of Nations.
